At only 4.7 lbs, the NIJ Certified Defend-X Lightweight Level III Hard Armor Plate is the most versatile tactical plate on the market today. It's non ceramic injection molded design is designed to defeat multiple rounds of M80 Ball and lesser threats within the plate matrix. The Defend-X Lightweight Level III Hard Armor Plate is chemical resistant. Defend-X Life Saver Hard Armor is designed to fit most standard carrier harnesses or vests. (Weight 4.7 lbs per plate)

The Defend-X® NIJ Certified Lightweight Level III Multi-Hit Hard Armor Plate is certified to defeat rifle threats of 7.62 X 51mm FMJ NATO BALL and has been independently tested to stop higher threats such as 7.62 X 54R and other 30.06 projectiles. This plate will stop AK47, 7.62 X 39mm, AK74, 5.45 X 39mm with mild steel core and all lower assault/hunting rifle cartridges, including ALL handgun projectiles.
